Spend 2 minutes on Youtube and you will start to see video after video of “How to achieve your goals”. I was one of those people and I am admittedly the person in the non-fiction section who has read ALL of the business books and spent years soaking everything in.
But you know what I realized after studying high achievers. People who always achieve what they set their mind to?
They aren’t more talented.
They are more organized and they are relentless in their pursuit.
I used to be somebody who thought talent will get you where you want to be. If I just took prettier photos or edited better – THEN I would be making the big bucks.
If I became the best artist, leads would be flocking to me. Clamoring to work with my artistic genius. As you can guess…crickets.
Instead – my goals started to come to fruition when I really started to get organized and relentless.
If you’re feeling like you are constantly on a hamster wheel doing the same things and getting crap results – it’s because you ARE on that hamster wheel.
Before you go on a downward spiral there’s something beautiful about this.
You have full control over your own success. Whether or not you went to photography school or are the best in the industry. Not because you aren’t extroverted enough. Not because it’s just not in your personality.
You have everything you need RIGHT NOW to be successful in what you want and make fantastic money.

How To Become Successful
Get crystal clear on where you want to go and why. Then literally sit down and plan the non-negotiables for the week. Like marketing. That is nonnegotiable, yet if I was to sit down and coach you and ask you to show me your calendar…would I see a time block for marketing in there?
Would I see a time block for anything in your calendar?
I have a master calendar – meaning every day of the week I have dedicated myself to business tasks and home tasks. Mondays are filming. Tuesdays are writing. Wednesdays are client work. Thursday’s is Instagram. Fridays are CEO Day.
This means I literally just need to show up and do the assigned word for that day. Easy peasy.
Whether or not you are consistently doing something – it’s always changing. Meaning – either your business is slowly rising…or falling. So if you aren’t consistently showing up and doing the repeatable and many times boring actions that your business requires of you…well friend…your business isn’t going to consistently give you the results that you want.
If I am relentless, I know that with the right mentorship, my business will be a success. It’s not that I don’t know some things – I just didn’t know everything I needed to run a photography business or this education business. The FIRST thing I did when I started my education business – before a website before I had an Instagram account before anything…was to hire a mentor. Sure enough – my first year in business was extremely successful because of this. Relentless + mentorship is like the golden ticket friend.
The second you take back the power of things you don’t have control over – you quickly realize how freeing it is to know you have COMPLETE control over your success.
That mental shift, tells your b**** voice as Andy Frisella calls it, to go away.
How would you show up differently if you knew that your success was inevitable?
